Preparing interactive calculation engine
The standardized measure of true mouse cursor sensitivity in competitive FPS games, calculated by multiplying hardware mouse DPI by in-game sensitivity.
Because different players use different hardware sensor DPI settings (e.g. 400, 800, 1600 DPI), in-game sensitivity numbers alone cannot be compared.
eDPI provides a universal metric: a player at 800 DPI with 0.4 in-game sensitivity has an eDPI of 320, identical to a player at 1600 DPI with 0.2 sensitivity.
Universal product of sensor resolution and engine sensitivity coefficient.
Dots per inch sensor tracking resolution.
